I'm excited to announce a new project I'm working on!
I've been asked many times if I would ever consider writing a series, but I always replied that I prefer to create individual romantic stories that stand on their own. However, that all changed when I came across the paintings of Doreman Burns! All of a sudden multiple storylines began to flow as I looked at his various paintings, and before I knew it the first one, Letting Go, began to take shape. Book Two in the Hidden Glory Ranch Series is titled Searching, and while I have ideas for at least two more books in the series (so far), I haven't chosen their titles yet.
Nicole Hart is a young and highly successful architect who, while thriving in her profession, is deeply unhappy with other aspects of her life, particularly her relationship with Chandler Whittingham, a successful lawyer she's been dating for over five years, as well as a long term strained relationship with her father. After an unexpected, and all-to-brief vacation, Nicole realizes she needs to make some serious decisions about her future, including what to do about Chandler, who has just recently been pushing to get married.
During her few days away at thew beach she meets Carli, a widow whose paintings of beaches and deserts are strikingly beautiful, but it's her painting of a southwestern ranch in Angel Fire, New Mexico that really catches Nicole's eye! Something she can't explain is pulling her to find out more, so she makes plans for a longer vacation at Hidden Glory Guest Ranch to find out firsthand what that mystery might be.
What she doesn't realize is that her life is about to change in a way she never imagined. Nor did she ever expect to meet a man like Liam Prescott!
